Heat Illness Prevention - Released May 6, 2010

A Heat Illness is a serious medical condition resulting from the body's inability to cope with a particular heat load, and includes heat cramps, heat exhaustion, heat syncope and heat stroke.

Electrical Safety - Released April 14, 2010

OSHA reports that approximately 350 electrical-related fatalities occur each year. While this number pales in comparison to fatalities related to falls, it still warrants our focus for this entire news letter.

Fall Protection - Released March 12, 2010

The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards.
