OSHA Regulations and the State of Maine
Is training mandatory?
Outreach training is not currently mandatory in the state of Maine, however some employers require that their workers take the 10 or 30 hour training courses anyways. These training courses are known to reduce workplace hazards, injury, illness, and compliance fines. We always encourage at least 10 hours of safety training to all workers on a public or construction job site.
