Frequently Asked Questions
EA Questions
Are you OSHA approved?
OSHA does not approve any providers. OSHA authorizes training providers to offer online 10 and 30 hour outreach training online. We offer OSHA accepted classroom Outreach. For online training, we were among the first to have been authorized to offer online OSHA courses. We now offer an industry accepted program but we are not an OSHA approved online provider. Are you interested in online or onsite training?
Is the 10 & 30 hour online course OSHA compliant and approved?
OSHA does not approve providers and therefore, we are not an OSHA approved training vendor. OSHA only authorizes or accepts training vendors. OSHA Campus 10 and 30 hour safety courses are OSHA compliant , meets the OSHA 29 CFR 1910.268 requirements and industry accepted. Up on completion of the course, you will get a OSHA Campus wallet card which will expire in 5 years
Since we don’t offer the course after 31 March, will the course be accessable?
Yes, anyone who purchases and starts the course by March 31st will be able to complete as normal and receive a DOL card. Reminder: you have 6 months to complete once the program is started
What states is the training valid for?
43 states do not have a training requirement. The education is voluntary For the 7 states ( NV, CT, MA, NY, MO, RI, NH) construction safety training is required and the requirements vary from state to state [Please read the state requirements for each state from the website] Except for Nevada, our OSHA campus certification is equivalent and meets the OSHA compliance the oshacampus certification as an equivalent course.
Will the Learners get a printable certificate upon completion?
Yes, a temporary printable certificate followed by a OSHA Campus wallet card certifying completion of training.
Will the Learners get a DOL card in the mail?
If it is onsite OSHA 10 and 30 hour courses, then the student will get DOL card in 4-6 weeks. If they are taking the online 10 and 30 hour safety training, then the student can get a temporary printable certificate followed by a OSHAcampus wallet card in 1-2 weeks.
Is the online course equivalent to classroom courses?
There are some differences. The classroom course leads to a DOL card while the online leads to an oshacampus wallet card.
I`m getting other competitors offering the OSHA 10 training for $18-20 per person, why is 360training too expensive?
Students need to be wary of offers that seem too good to be true. The major providers have very similar pricing that reflects the significant costs associated with creating and supporting high quality programs.
Who does the DOL card come for and what does it look like? Does it have a photo/ID of any sort?
The DOL card comes from the government and has only a name, no photo [ please review the image of the card online]
Why is online training better than on-site training?
Two words: convenience and self-paced. Many workers are so busy or live in areas where classroom sessions are not practical. Online offers much greater convenience. The self-paced nature of online allows each student to spend more time on the topics they are not familiar with and move more quickly through those that they are. In a classroom, everyone marches through the same topics for the same amount of time.
